In the first web section of the IT Minor, I learned the very basics of the web like how to search Google more efficiently, how to write HTML and CSS code. I also learned how to manage a WordPress blog, which would help me later understand how to manage and create this current website. In this first semester, I wrote reflections about my experiences on the web, things we read for class, as well as some of the projects I did. Below I will briefly discuss each project, and following the projects is a link to all the blog posts I wrote for the web section of the IT minor.
Gordo the Amazing Monkey
This was the very first web document I coded. I wrote both the HTML and CSS code for this document. It may not be much but, it is the document upon which I built my coding foundation. To see these sites live, please visit the links below or click through the slideshow.

Learning to Position with CSS
Once I learned the basics of CSS, I was tasked with creating the four mini sites below. This project was to help me learn and use CSS. The takeaway from that project was understanding elements and how to position them on a page. The links are listed below as well as a gallery of screenshots.
